Chemical Engineer – Research & Development (R&D)

1. Research & Material Development
• Design and synthesize rare-earth-free magnetic materials (e.g., ferrites, Fe-based alloys).
• Develop nanocomposites and advanced functional materials for improved magnetic/electrochemical performance.
• Study structure–property relationships using advanced material characterization. -
2. Electrolysis & Hydrogen Production
• Design and optimize electrolysis systems (alkaline, PEM, or solid oxide).
• Improve hydrogen generation efficiency, electrode stability, and catalyst performance.
• Work on gas evolution kinetics (HER/OER) and electrolyte optimization. -
3. Experimental Design & Testing
• Plan and conduct laboratory experiments for material synthesis and electrochemical testing.
• Use techniques such as:
o XRD, SEM, TEM (material characterization)
o Electrochemical Workstation (CV, EIS, LSV)
o Magnetic property measurements (VSM) -
4. Process Development & Scale-Up
• Translate lab-scale findings into pilot-scale processes.
• Optimize parameters like temperature, pressure, current density, and electrolyte composition.
• Ensure reproducibility and scalability of developed technologies. -
5. Data Analysis & Reporting
• Analyze experimental data using scientific tools and modeling.
• Prepare technical reports, research papers, patents, and project documentation.
• Present findings to internal teams or external stakeholders. -
6. Innovation & Collaboration
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (materials science, physics, mechanical engineering).
• Stay updated with emerging technologies in:
o Sustainable magnets
o Green hydrogen and electrochemical systems
• Contribute to grant proposals and research funding applications. -
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education
• B.Tech/M.Tech in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or related field. -
Technical Skills
• Knowledge of:
o Electrochemistry and electrolysis
o Magnetic materials and solid-state chemistry
o Nanomaterials synthesis techniques
• Hands-on experience with:
o Electrochemical systems
o Material characterization tools
• Familiarity with simulation/modeling tools is a plus. -
Soft Skills

Embedded Systems Engineer – (IoT & Cloud Integration)
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain firmware for embedded systems (ESP32/STM32/ARM or
similar MCUs).
- Design and implement user interfaces for touchscreen displays (LVGL, TFT,
ST7789, or similar libraries/frameworks). - Work on data acquisition from multiple sensors (GPS, temperature/humidity, 4G
module, microphones, etc.) and ensure real-time data processing. - Implement secure communication protocols (HTTPs, MQTT, WebSockets) for
device-to-cloud data transfer. - Integrate devices with AWS IoT Core / AWS Lambda / AWS S3 / DynamoDB for
data ingestion and storage. - Ensure data formatting and structuring for multiple devices to be easily consumed
by backend systems. - Collaborate with cloud/backend teams to ensure seamless integration of embedded
devices with AWS infrastructure. - Debug, optimize, and test embedded systems for low power consumption and
reliability. - Maintain documentation, version control (Git), and testing frameworks for
embedded projects.
Strong hands-on experience in Embedded C/C++ and/or Python for
microcontrollers.
Good understanding of RTOS (FreeRTOS preferred) and embedded peripherals
(UART, SPI, I2C, I2S, ADC, etc.).
Experience with touchscreen GUI frameworks (LVGL, TFT_eSPI, or similar).
Knowledge of AWS IoT Core, AWS S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, and related cloud
services.
Familiarity with IoT data protocols – MQTT, HTTPS, CoAP.
Experience in handling GPS modules, environmental sensors, and I2S
microphones.
Knowledge of secure data handling and OTA firmware updates.
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and optimization skills.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have):
Experience with ESP-IDF, PlatformIO, Arduino framework on ESP32/ESP32-S3.
Knowledge of containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes) for AWS backend
integration.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for embedded systems.
Understanding of industrial IoT (IIoT) standards.
Education:
